My name is Ara, a Farsi name that means someone who brings beauty to everything. Whether or not I live up to that meaning, it has quietly shaped the way I see the world: always searching for beauty in the ordinary, the fleeting, and the deeply human.

I was born and raised in Iran, in a home filled with red Persian carpets, colorful stained-glass windows, the scent of saffron and fresh tea, and long family dinners where stories and laughter lingered long after the plates were cleared. My childhood was wrapped in warmth, and somewhere within those moments, photography found me.

As a young teenager, I became fascinated by the idea that a photograph could preserve a feeling long after a moment had passed. I wasn't simply taking pictures—I was trying to hold onto time. The golden light through stained glass, the quiet comfort of home, the smile of someone I loved. I wanted to remember not just what life looked like, but what it felt like.

That passion led me to spend two years photographing weddings and working in a photography studio in Iran, where I learned that the most meaningful images are never forced—they're discovered in the quiet, honest moments between people.

Today, I call Canada home, where I'm studying Psychology while building my photography business. Psychology has taught me to look beyond perfect poses and see the emotions, connections, and stories that make each person beautifully unique. People often might ask what kind of photographer I am, but I've never believed love belongs in just one category.

Love is everywhere, in growing families, new beginnings, quiet embraces, joyful celebrations, and the dreams people work so hard to build. That's why I never wanted to limit myself to a single niche. Every chapter of life deserves to be remembered with the same care, tenderness, and intention.
